About the
Glasgow Football Association

Glasgow FA logo

The Glasgow Football Association
exists to serve the interests of the
senior football clubs in Glasgow at
both local and national level.

Currently, these are: Celtic, Clyde,
Partick Thistle, Queen's Park, and
Rangers.

The Association was established
in 1873, and has a long and
distinguished history.

Among many other functions,
the Association organises and
operates the Glasgow FA Cup,
first contested in 1887, and
recognised as one of the oldest
competitions in world football.
